New York Cares is the NYC Metro-Area's largest volunteer network. More than 36,000 people volunteer their time through New York Cares every year, and in turn, help more than 350,000 disadvantaged New Yorkers.

OTL Productions is producing from start to finish a specific promotional video for their Youth Service Clubs. New York Cares' award winning Youth Service Clubs offer meaningful community service opportunities to hundreds of teens in our city's least-privileged public schools. Their goal is to inspire young people to become life-long contributors to their communities by educating them about social issues, engaging them in youth-led service projects, and providing leadership training.

pilot screening premiere: proficiencies a la carte(r)

a tv-show pilot entitled "THE DREGS", that Kelly worked 'a la carte' on as a partial dp & technical director, is having its premiere screening here in the city the tail end of april...the project is also currently being pitched to network tv.

“Oh The Ladies” can be pronounced several ways. One way is the drawn out, almost indulgent acknowledgment of the let-go: “Ohhhhhhh The Ladies”. Then, there is the all inclusive capitalization of the specifics designation, the“THE” emphasizor: “Oh THE Ladies”. There is also the interesting use of a question applied with the implied answer attached version: “Oh?…no need to question…The Ladies”. And finally there’s our favorite pronunciation, the stressing of who else but the Ladies, “Oh The LADIES”.

shoot(ers) into the wind(ers of dance)

otl had two shooters-for-hire capturing the "between the lines" dance performance over at the hudson guild theater in chelsea, this weekend. it was a performance highlighting the new works from choreographers tracie stanfield & her "synthesis dance project" & ginger cox & her "link dance company".

check 'em out...these ladies are top-shelf choreographers & are both very inspirational in their respective presentations of a physical movements, & as a result, mental movements for anyone who enjoys a good thorough dance show.

new client - BARNOLOGY

otl just picked up this client to produce a promotional hybrid for their website. they are super cool: a green, 'adaptive reuse' furniture company based out of new hope, pa & run by a certified barnologist...really. we're shooting on location down on some lands in rural pennsylvania...oh pennsy!

first step: we branded barnology their tagline: "contemporary furniture hand crafted from the past", & we'll jump from there.

you might ask: what's a promotional hybrid...well, it's out own original recipe that we'd be more than willing to hold your hand & walk you through.
